Award for zero-energy house with building-integrated photovoltaics by Sunways
At the presentation of the “German Solar Prizes” a few days ago, one of the awards went to a zero-energy house in Tuebingen/Germany featuring photovoltaics that had been planned and produced by Sunways AG.
Positive trend in business development continues
Sunways AG’s (FSE: SWW; ISIN DE0007332207) sales from continuing operations – i.e. after deduction of the sales volume attributable to MHH Solartechnik GmbH, the subsidiary scheduled to be sold – rose by 9.1 % against the prior year period to € 39.4 million.
Strategic transaction with BayWa AG trading group
Sunways AG sold all its shares in MHH Solartechnik GmbH to BayWa Green Energy GmbH effective as of 31 December 2009. Simultaneously, the companies have agreed on the formation of a joint venture for developing, planning and realizing medium-sized to large photovoltaic systems as well as solar parks.
