Sunways AG enters into contract with Swiss Wafers AG on wafer shipments

This contract will take effect as from January 2009 and expire in 2016. It relates to the supply by Swiss Wafers AG of a total of 115 megawatts of silicon wafers for the production of solar cells by Sunways AG. It provides for down payments to be made by Sunways. The parties agreed to maintain silence regarding any other contract details.

The contract will make a significant contribution towards the secure supply of raw materials for Sunways AG and markedly support the photovoltaics company's further growth and increased profitability.

Currently, the production capacities of Sunways AG equal 46 megawatts and are to be expanded to a total of 116 megawatts by the end of 2008.
