Sunways AG enters into module supply contract with Webasto Solar GmbH

Webasto Solar GmbH, a joint venture between SYSTAIC AG and Webasto AG, constitutes a second experienced module supplier for the solar modules of Sunways AG that implements the Sunways quality standards.

The contract will take effect as from May 2008 and will initially run until June 2011. It relates to the manufacture and supply of solar modules with Sunways Solar Cells by Webasto Solar at the newly erected production plant of SYSTAIC AG. With the additionally available module volume totaling 25 megawatts, Sunways will primarily support its international expansion. Module shipments under the contract will start in August 2008.

Within the framework of this contract, Webasto Solar and Sunways will continue their joint market cultivation activities. Webasto Solar has already been receiving solar cells from Sunways for integration into car sliding roofs since February 2006.
