This open-air PV system in the heart of Bavaria, operating at an efficiency of up to 98% is already delivering a great return on investment thanks to the central inverters supplied by Sunways. Intelligent CAN multiplexing enables the Sunways inverters to communicate with one another and equips them superbly for the full spectrum of monitoring options. You see, professional monitoring of electricity generation has a particularly important role to play in large generating facilities like this one. That is why the Sunways range of central inverters are factory-fitted with a user-friendly and convenient monitoring system. Whenever a fault occurs, an alarm is triggered automatically and the system operator is informed immediately of the situation. The Sunways browser supports the calling up of operational, yield-related and fault data, and also facilitates remote configuration of the solar inverters.

In this project, 45 of Sunways PT 30k central inverters are in active service. This PV system delivers a maximum power output of 1,518.75 kWp. This energy yield enables about 500 households to be supplied with electricity. This electrical power is used by households in the immediate vicinity of the system. That in turn enables about 1,300 tons of carbon dioxide emissions to be saved on an annual basis.
