Edeka supermarkets, Bad Dürrheim and Mengen: On offer: assured profits.
When system provider Sunways builds large-scale photovoltaic systems it is not only the environment that benefits. In this particular case, EDEKA Südwest Solarenergie GmbH was the beneficiary of cooperation with the technology leader. Powerful, high-quality Sunways Solar Modules, which have been mounted on the roofs of the EDEKA supermarkets in Bad Dürrheim and Mengen since 2006, provide investors with maximum profits secured through the government-guaranteed feed-in tariff.
As general contractor, Sunways was responsible for the planning, construction and complete servicing of this lucrative PV power plant: a flat roof installation of modules with multicrystalline solar cells that makes optimal use of the shade-free roof area and incorporates lightening and overvoltage protection. The turnkey and highly profitable Sunways system basically only needed to be switched on. Through the incorporated Communicator technology, the operator is now able to fully document, check and evaluate the PV system operating data via the Internet.
Solar value added with Sunways: 1,902 Sunways Solar Modules generate an annual yield of 383 MWh of green electricity on the roofs of the Edeka supermarkets in Bad Dürrheim and Mengen.
