Solar Park Almendricos, Murcia/Spain: High-energy yields and an abundance of vitamins.
In addition to the perfect climatic conditions, the success of the technology in Spain has been ensured thanks to attractive subsidies for photovoltaic systems. A prime example is the Almendricos Solar Park, which stands in a vast orange farm in the province of Murcia and boasts a total output of 343 kWp. Numerous solar trackers generate electricity during the day and, in combination with Sunways Inverters, contribute sustainably to the solar value added – without restricting the agricultural use of the plantation.
A total of 70 Sunways Solar Inverters with HERIC® topology contribute to the success of the Almendricos system. Achieving efficiencies of up to 97.5 percent, they generate a sizeable profit to the joy of both the system operators and the investors.
Particularly beneficial is the combination of the installed solar inverters and the optionally utilised Sunways Communicator technology. Thanks to this system, operating data from the entire solar park can be fully documented, checked and evaluated via the Internet.
Maximum output thanks to state-of-the-art PV technology from Sunways: the measured “performance ratio” of the Almendricos Solar Park, that is, the comparison of the actual yield with the theoretically possible yield, is over 80 percent.
