This year, the annual report of Sunways AG (FSE: SWW; ISIN DE0007332207) won several awards. From among a total number of more than 1000 reports appraised, the Sunways 2009 Annual Report was selected for the "Exemplary Annual Reports"as one of the top 91 in Germany with a convincing overall concept. The "Exemplary Annual Reports" every year present those companies who, in the opinion of the Cologne-based business publishing company Deutsche Standards, are outstanding in terms of transparency of contents and boldness of design and thus stand for convincing and plausible financial communications.
The so-called Spotlight Awards are assigned every year by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) for international communication efforts. Over 1100 publications from more than a dozen countries were evaluated this year. The Sunways 2009 Annual Report won a silver award in the annual reports category and a bronze award among first-time participants. Overall, the annual report ranked 27th among all publications evaluated. In the opinion of LACP, the Sunways annual report superbly delivers a highly relevant and persuasive message.
