Sunways AG: Profitable growth continues
In the second quarter 2010, Sunways AG (FWB: SWW; ISIN DE0007332207) consistently remained on its growth path: sales rose by 19.6 % against the second quarter of the prior year to € 64.6 million (Q2/2009: € 54.0 million)
Solar architecture with building-integrated photovoltaics from Sunways receives award
The "home+" building project submitted by Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT) came third at the international architectural "Solar Decathlon Europe 2010" competition in Madrid. The prototype for a home of the future came first in the individual categories "Innovation" and "Design". Sunways AG supported the project with expertise in building-integrated PV, coloured solar cells for the building envelope and inverters.
High-efficiency “19+” Sunways solar cell scaled from 5" to 6" standard size
Sunways AG has developed its high-efficiency silicon solar cell with screen-printing metallisation and an efficiency of more than 19% further from the 5" format to the 6" standard format.
